"The Book I Love and Can’t Sell"

Interesting.

I know that Deborah Chester has a series that she hasn't finished and the publisher decided to stop selling those books. Waiting to see how she wraps it up.

Your situation is different and while it is a livelihood and an income decision it does also depend on "Why we write" in some ways. If you're proud of the work and want people to see it, there is always self-publish and selling it yourself. The eBook route or even free distribution works for me, but I'm greedy. :)

Still, you would need to take into account the way you've always released your work in the past and sometimes what is comfortable (and also useful) doesn't always work.

Just my 2 cents, but I wouldn't give up on that method any time soon if it would make you regret that decision at some point later on, but it would be nice to get it out there at some point. You'll know when that is. I look forward to reading it.

Thanks for the comment and the encouragement. As I've said in response to comments at the other blog sites, I've considered all sorts of options and certainly won't rule anything out. But I think for now I'll exhaust all the traditional publishing options before doing a POD or self-publishing, or even creative commons.

Thanks again.
