New Story in a New Anthology!

Dragon's Lure, edited by Daniel Ackley-McPhail"The Dragon Muse"

I have a new short story coming out late next month, and it's time to start promoting the anthology.  So, here we go....

The anthology is called Dragon's Lure, and it's edited by Danielle Ackley-McPhail.  It is being published by Dark Quest Books, and will be launched on May 30 at Balticon.  Sadly, I can't be at the convention.  That's the antho jacket art on the left.  The image on the right is the illustration for my story, which is called "The Dragon Muse."  I'm not going to tell you much about "The Dragon Muse" except to say a) it's my first dragon story ever, and b) it is not your typical dragon story.

Here is the text of the Dark Quest Books publicity text for the release and the anthology:

And They've Brought Friends!

Is that the same story that you read at last year's ConCarolinas? At least I think it was ConCarolinas....

If so forgot all about that story until now. Excellent story if I remember correctly.

Will you have some or will someone have some at ConCarolinas? If so new stories for you and Misty in two more books I will need to purchase...

See you then,

Yeah, Wayne, it's that same story. Glad you liked it. I don't know if we'll have them yet or not at CC. Hopefully, yes. I'll look into it.

Yeah, they did a very nice job packaging the collection, and I love the art for my story. Be sure to pick up a copy!

Why thank you, thank you very much :) Other than the Halfling's Court this is my most favorite design job.

And the stories even delighted me, can't tell you how much I smiled doing the final proof :)
